In this blog, we take a close look at the Bedwetting Store
Return Policy. The returns and exchange policy of the Bedwetting Store is at http://bedwettingstore.com/return-policy.html
It states
“The Bedwetting Store accepts returns of unused merchandise
returned in their original, resellable condition within 30 days of purchase -
excluding books. In the event that an item is damaged, lost or incorrectly
delivered, claims must be made within 7 days of receipt. Shipping and handling
costs are not refundable. Because of health and safety concerns, we cannot
accept returns of used bedwetting alarms, bedding, briefs and other
merchandise. Occasionally, some our products are offered with free shipping, so
please be aware that if you return one of these products, our actual outbound
shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund.”
The above
appears to be straightforward and for a parent may seem like a good deal, but
here is where the deceit comes in.
When does
this warranty start? The Bedwetting Store says that shipments can take 8
business days. If an order is placed, adding shipping and handling time, it is
now 2 weeks before you get your order. They eat right through your warranty
period for no fault of yours.
“The

original, The Bedwetting Store accepts returns of unused merchandise returned

So if you
threw away the original packaging for the bedwetting alarm product that you may
have purchased many months ago, the Bedwetting Store will NOT honor their
warranty. Ugh!
Why do
they emphasize on “resellable condition”?
One probable and only logical reason is that the Bedwetting Store is reselling
returns they receive from their customers. This is not only deceit, but unacceptable.
You may buy a Malem bedwetting alarm that you paid full price for and receive a
used product! We strongly urge readers to not to purchase any products sold by
the Bedwetting Store including Malem and Rodgers bedwetting alarms. There are
many more alarms available for a third of the price of these alarms.
Another
point on the Bedwetting Stores return policy that springs out is “Because of
health and safety concerns, we cannot
accept returns of used bedwetting alarms, bedding, briefs and other
merchandise.” (The bold marking is ours).
Whose
health? Yours or the Bedwetting Stores?
How do
you know a product is not working as expected? Obviously by testing it. But you
don’t get that flexibility when you purchase the bedwetting alarm from the
Bedwetting Store. Once you purchase it and open the product, you are stuck.
They make it clear “we cannot accept
returns of used bedwetting alarms” This means you get what you paid for
with no hope, chance or possibility of getting your money back – ever.
This is by
far the worst warranty in the bedwetting industry and we call this shameful
deceit.
Why does
the Bedwetting Store punish poor unsuspecting parents who wish to purchase a
tool to help their child this way? Because they can and they choose to.
To truly compare Malem with
all relevant competitors in today’s marketplace, look at http://www.urinealarms.com/Wired_Alarm_Chart.html . This is the most comprehensive set of data and
facts about bedwetting alarms that we have seen. Malem does not fare well. This
explains why Malem and the Bedwetting Store resort to deceit and propaganda to
promote the Malem bedwetting alarm!
The Bedwetting Store is the
only seller who advertises and continues to sell the Malem Bedwetting Alarm.
All other sellers have either realized the truth about the Malem Bedwetting
Alarm or have abandoned it, but the Bedwetting Store continues its deceit.
