The Bedwetting Store does a
good job of confusing the general buyer into believing that the Malem
bedwetting alarms are the “BEST”, “POWERFUL” and “AFFORDABLE” bedwetting
alarms. It is not our intent, in this blog, to approve or disapprove of an
alarm for any of its attributes. A potential buyer can always look at the
information on the seller’s site, and often get more complete information from
a comprehensive site such as http://urinealarms.com/ which suggests a comprehensive
method to select an appropriate bedwetting alarm, and also provides an
exhaustive list of attributes and properties for these alarms. Our concerns
primarily relate to facts being miss-stated or negative attributes not being mentioned
(or concealed).
“The new, easy-to-use Malem
wireless bedwetting alarm system makes it simple to be alerted when wetting
occurs.” We did a search and found that this alarm is over 5 years old. How is
a 5 year old bedwetting alarm still sold as NEW? How and why is this alarm
“easy to use”? We purchased the product and tested it thoroughly. We dont
believe that it is easy to use. How is this feature qualified?
“The advantage of this wireless
bed wetting alarm is that it can be used with any of your child's own
underwear.” Again, the Bedwetting Store jumbles up al facts and tells parents
that the child can use their own underwear with this alarm. But isn’t that true
with all alarms? Whose underwear do parents use? Deceit by perversion.
The Bedwetting Store also claims “The sensor is placed on the
outside of the briefs and detects the first few drops of moisture.” What are
the first few drops? How many drops? 1, 10, 100, 1000? Knowing the Bedwetting
Store’s history of deceit, anything is possible. Deceit by perversion.
“Loud tones (8 random or
specific) alerts even deepest sleeper” No comments. Deceit by perversion.
There is no information on
the loudness of the alarm or how to change tones. No information on volume
control or on setup. Since the Bedwetting Store recommends that this alarm
should be placed “The second receiver for the parent's room is nice for
situations where parents may not hear the alarm.” Reinforces that the alarm is not loud. Why not
provide this volume in dBA at a two feet (60 cms) or greater distance so the
buyer has a more realistic understanding of the volume that will be heard
during use? Stop misleading the reader. Deceit
by perversion.
“A second receiver can be
purchased to be placed in the parent's room.” Why do we need a second receiver?
How do you set up two receivers? Why is this not explained? This could be a
limiting factor for some users. Deceit
by concealment.

all relevant competitors in today’s marketplace, look at http://www.urinealarms.com/Wired_Alarm_Chart.html . This is the most comprehensive set of data and
facts about bedwetting alarms that we have seen. Malem does not fare well. This
explains why Malem and the Bedwetting Store resort to deceit and propaganda to
promote the Malem bedwetting alarm!
The Bedwetting Store is the
only seller who advertises and continues to sell the Malem Bedwetting Alarm.
